Camping Anyone????

I am just ITCHING to go camping!!! We have sooooo many fond memories of our past camping trips.....I'm ready to make some more. My mind has conjured up ALL sorts of trips...before and after KCM....with Alabama saints and Saints from all over. Can you imagine camping with Bro. Robin Thames, Bro. Dale Parker and Bro. Ralph Williams....if that is not enough we could always add Sis. Linda Dillingham, Sis. Donna Broom and Sis. Jennifer Nordstrom (as long as she brought those awesome boys! They would add some spice to life) . We could have SOME FUN hiding snakes in Bro. Robins tent....Wooowee wouldn't that be fun.

Yeah, I know that I could just "camp" at KCM. I guess that would really make it "CAMP-MEETING"....I just might would IF I had better sucess with an air-mattress...I don't think that I have slept on the same air-mattress for a whole night without adding air in the middle of the night. I have tried SEVERAL different brands and have not found the right one yet.

Anyone game?

Identical Twins?

Jen asked if me and my sister are identical so I thought I would post a few pictures of more recent and WAY back.....

As you can tell, Me and Rita was always together. We have shared many good times and some bad times but we have always had each other. Life sure changed when she got married....I had to find someone else to hang out with.

Memaw's 87th Birthday Celebration

We had Memaw a 87th birthday gathering last night. Approximately 57 people showed up to help celebrate God allowing us to keep her here with us one more year. The party was a success....thanks to Sis. Cindy K.

Rita's surprise party

It is really amazing to me the way that God can use simple things to cause us to realize how REALLY blessed we are.
I just returned from my (un-saved) twin sisters birthday party and I must admit that I did enjoy myself. There is a bond with family members that you will always have even if you walk two different paths. I enjoyed seeing my two sisters and both of my parents as well as some old friends that I use to hang with in my wilder days. I also made friends with a number of the folks that "hang out" with my sister and her kids. I am praying that God will give me favor with these young people.
Back to the blessings that we have....
As I was at my sisters party I realized how really sad and lonely most peoples lives really are. Even though on the surface they seem to be whooping it up and having a good time, deep down they are lonely.
All they really want in life is to be happy, have friends that really care about them and a companion that is faithful.
I am really blessed. Thanks to God, I have all of these things and more!!!!
